The loveliest book I've read in a long time

Yesterday was my three-year-old niece's birthday and we are having a family party for her this weekend.  So I got out the presents I bought for her intending to wrap them.  I had forgotten I'd bought her a couple of books (but what else does a writer buy for her relatives?) and decided to read them for the first time.

You know there are a few books that as a teacher I just couldn't get through without choking up.  I Love You Forever is one of them.  Another was Chicken Sunday by Patricia Pollaco.

But Wherever You Are:  My Love Will Find You trumps them both.   Starting with the first page (l) this book expresses every sentiment you want your children to understand about how much you love them.  I got about three pages before I was bawling like a baby.  So now I have to go out and get copies for my kids.  You're never to old to be reminded that mommy loves you.

If you'd like to pick up a copy for your lovelies, here you go:
